Of all the branded promotional products you may have received through the years, can you remember what the first one was?

Think about it. What was the very first of all the promotional gifts you’ve received?

When I sat down to write this article, it got me thinking too. Mine wasn’t one of the assortment of branded pens, branded mugs or even printed T-shirts I’ve received through the years. I remember it quite distinctly. It was a blue piggy bank from a leading national bank, without a rubber stopper to tempt me to steal from myself. The trick was to fill it and then take it to the bank and open an account. And guess what? I still bank with this bank today.
